A: BuzzOurBiz.com is all about free ads for services/businesses and free reviews about those services/businesses. It is a free local services classifieds site where anyone offering or looking for any type of service can post and view ads, ratings and recommendations, and spread the buzz about the service they just used with their trusted network. Q: Who should post ads on BOB?
A: Anyone & Everyone. If you have any sort of business or service that you offer, whether it is full-time, part-time or just something that you do on the side, you should post an ad. Anyone looking for any type of service can post a "Wanted" ad and sit back and let businesses or service providers contact them with quotes and offers. Our mission is to enable the entrepreneur in everyone and to help people find the right services or businesses by reading the reviews of others. It is 100% completely FREE!
Q: What do you mean by 100% FREE?
A: We mean free in every sense of the word. You can register, post an ad, surf the site, request recommendations, contact people and do everything else on BOB and you will NEVER be asked to make a payment to us. BOB is FREE!
Q: Why should I get reviews and ratings?
A: The first and foremost reason is that reviews and ratings build
trust. When people are surfing around to seek out a service provider,
they will generally glance over your ad quickly and look to the reviews
to find out what their peers - other saavy customers - are saying about
you and your business. Reviews don't even have to all be glowing in
order to benefit you: the more authentic and honest they are, the more
the surfer will trust the experience of the reviewer and, by extension,
the more they will trust you and your excellent business.
The other reasons to get reviews and ratings are that users of BOB
can sort all of the ads by "Ads with Reviews" and "Highest Rated".
Therefore, the more reviews you have and the better the ratings you get,
the higher your ad will rank!
You can get reviews by clicking on the "Request Reviews" button in the "My Ads" section when you are logged in to BuzzOurBiz.
Q: Can I delete bad reviews that people post about me or my business?
A: Unfortunately, no. Reviews - good, bad and indifferent - together are all part of the honest expression of your clients and customers about you and your business. Unless there is something clearly offensive, illegal or otherwise in the review, it shall be allowed.
Please note, however, that you have the ability to add "Service Provider" comments after any ads. Just click on the "Add Remarks" link under the review that shows up on your ad after you are logged in.
Q: Why should I get people to click on the “Like” button in my ad?
A:
The short answer is greater
traffic and exposure for your ad.
The Facebook “Like” button that is shown on each ad allows users of Facebook to “Like” posts, web pages, ads, etc. When someone surfs to your ad and clicks the like button, a message is automatically posted to their Facebook account that they like your ad and it is shown to all of their friends in the following format: “So and so likes [the title of your BOB ad with a link back to it] on BuzzOurBiz.” Their friends will see this and can easily click on the link and view your ad, “Like” it to their friends or “Share” it with their clients, colleagues or family and so on. All in all, it means more exposure for your ad and more potential customers viewing your great ad and great services!
Q: What is the “Share Your Success with BuzzOurBiz” link all about?

This is intended for you to
let us know about success you’ve had advertising on BuzzOurBiz or about any of
the other innovative and interesting things you are doing with your biz. We will consider you for a free feature
placement on BOB with a write up about your business and perhaps other
cross-marketing opportunities and be in touch with you to discuss those.
Q: How is “Review a Biz” different from writing reviews directly on an ad?
A: The “Review a Biz” button on the top ribbon bar is intended for you to write reviews about businesses that do not already have an ad on BOB. All you need to do is provide very basic information about that business (name and what they do) in order to be able to write your review. If you have their email address, they will be notified of the review.
The “Write a Review” button that you see at the bottom of each ad is for reviews for that ad/service provider.
